Obituary of Charles Edward Kowaleuski
Charles “Chickie” Kowaleuski, 66 years of age, a resident of Hope, NJ, passed away on January 1, 2022 in Newton, NJ. He was born in Fort Hood, TX on April 1, 1955 to Charles Joseph and Patricia Joy (Hann) Kowaleuski. He was a computer technician for IBM on multiple contracts throughout his career. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His love was always extended to friends whom he considered family. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, traveling, bon fires, military history, scuba diving, exploring with his wife and dog Chloe, and teaching others through his experiences. He was known for always teaching a lesson through long “short” stories. Always the first to extend a helping hand in times of need to all he loved. Many of his benevolent gestures were met with a beer but for Chickie helping his family and friends was the reward itself.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Vashon) Kowaleuski, five sons Brian Lussier, Kenneth Kowaleuski, Alexander Kowaleuski and wife Becky, Nicholas Lussier, Dennis Kowaleuski and significant other Amber Borkan, daughter Natasha Bifferato and husband Adam, grandchildren, Joshua Carter and Madeline Corbett, Charlie and R.J.
