Obituary of Carol Ann Catalano

Carol Ann Catalano went to be with the Lord from her home on June 4, 2021. She was born on January 9, 1933, in Woodhaven, NY to John and Caroline Bailey. She was married to the love of her life, her husband, Joseph Catalano on October 3, 1954. They moved to Frelinghuysen in 1964 where they raise their family. Carol was a telephone operator, worked in clothing design and art before becoming a stay at home mom. She later worked for the family business. She was a volunteer for the PTA, class mother, member of the Blairstown and Knowlton United Methodist Churches and enjoyed her time with the Newton Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Her favorite times were spend with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Gail and her husband Richard her daughter, Lynn; her son Glenn and his wife Kim; grandchildren: Christopher and Jonelle, Bryon and Katie, Justin and Jenn, Michelle, Amy, Meghan and Tyler, and Joshua and Curits; great grandchildren Benjamin, Connor, Ian, Logan, Briana, Reya, and Aubrey. She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph in 1986; her grandson, Anthony in 2011; and her sister Joan, 1983. Viewing services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, from 6-8 pm, then a celebration of life will be conducted at 10;30 am on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, followed by a burial at the Old Cedar Ridge Cemetery, 117 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Carol's honor be sent to: Knowlton United Methodist Church, 509 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825, or Blairstown Ambulance Corp., P. O.
