Obituary of Heinz Woyzichowsky

Please share a memory of Heinz to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Heinz Woyzichowsky, 85 years of age, of Hardwick, NJ, passed away at his home on April 18, 2021. He was born in Bochum, Germany on March 13, 1936. He was a painter/wallpaper hanger by trade, and was a resident of Blairstown/Hardwick since 1976. He was a husband, a father, a brother, an Opa, a craftsman, a friend, a philosopher and a bird watcher. He loved nature and tending to his flower boxes. He was quick to laugh and loved to bust chops. He loved red wine, spicy food, good jokes, macadamia cookies and German food. But above all he loved his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. His favorite philosophy was "life is a compromise." So while we will miss him, the compromise is that he is reunited with his wife, Irmel, who passed a year ago. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gerhard & Shari Woyzichowsky, his daughter and son-in-law, Diana & Jim Wagner, five grandchildren, Kirsten Romanelli (and husband Colin), Erika Plummer (and husband Ricardo), Andrew Woyzichowsky, Emily Wagner (and fiance Joe Laccesaglia), Beth Woyzichowsky, and one great-grandchild, Nessa Plummer, who brought so much joy to his life. A private memorial celebration will be held in the coming weeks. Arrangements are under the direction of Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825 In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Antler Ridge Animal Sanctuary, 52 County Rd 661, Newton, NJ 07860.»(Do not delete this line.
