Lee Ann Hartung (Rosenkrans), 80, of Hardwick, NJ passed away on March 3, 2021 in Hardwick, NJ. The funeral service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hope, NJ on Sunday, March 7 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Carla Constantino officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery, Hope, NJ. Visitation will be held at Newbaker Funeral Home on Saturday, March 6 from 2 to 4. Lee Ann was born to Jane and George "Bud" Rosenkrans on July 10, 1940 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1957. Lee Ann is survived by her children Becky Hicks and husband Randy of Leraysville, PA, Cindy Wormser and husband Richard of Hardwick, NJ, David Hartung and wife Diane of Hereford, PA, Lynn Baker and husband Bill of Hackettstown, NJ; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; two brothers Greg and Stephen Rosenkrans and dear sister-in-law Linda Rosenkrans. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband Albert "Skip" Hartung and brother David. Lee Ann and Skip owned Hartung's Store in Hope, NJ for 29 years. In addition to the store, she worked as an office manager for Dr. Benjamin Iuvone, and later as a manager at TMP Worldwide. She retired from TMP and went to work for Kramer Chiropractic until 2017. Lee Ann participated in many community activities. She was a member of the Hope Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years, a volunteer for the American Red Cross teaching swimming and life guarding, a founding member of the Hope Recreation Committee, a Girl Scout leader for over 20 years, member and lay leader of St. John's United Methodist Church for decades and a member of the Hope Moravian Cemetery board. Her favorite activities were camping trips with the grandchildren, sailing, traveling and entertaining family and friends. It was Lee Ann's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to St. John's United Methodist Church, Box 291, Hope, NJ 07844.
