Obituary of Amy M. Steinman

Amy Steinman of Knowlton Township, New Jersey went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Amy's greatest delight was to make the world around her a better place for others. She accomplished this by honoring other people, beautifying all surroundings, and filling her home with laughter and joy. Amy had a unique ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Her home was her proverbial castle and she thoroughly enjoyed beautifying and designing the inside and outside with a creative, unique style. Amy was a true gift of God to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She expressed the love of Christ by making others feel valued and important. Amy's heart was filled with the love of Christ for her family, friends, and neighbors. She took personal interest in the lives of others and lived to see others succeed. All who knew her would attest to the beauty of her spirit, the intensity of her joy, and the creativity of her art and design. Amy's home and family are her legacy. Any success they have had is a direct result of her love, devotion, and care. Her husband, children, and friends all testify to her unique gifts of love, sacrifice, and dignity. She delighted in her seven wonderful children and their spouses as well as her three grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, a dedicated mother and a genuine friend to so many people. She made the world around her more beautiful. The name Amy means a woman beloved: Amy truly lived up to that name. She is our beloved and our beloved is ours. We miss you Amy and will always adore you and honor your memory. Amy is survived by her loving husband, Scott, her children Shane and Shay Steinman, Tristan and Shannon Heyde, Lauren and Steven Stoltzfus, Molly, Emma, Hope, and Bryan Steinman, and her grandchildren Attikus, William and soon to be grandchild. She is also survived by her parents, Nancy and Gary Johnson and mother and father in law, Jean and Bill Steinman. A viewing will be held at The Freedom Church, 145 Oak Ridge Road, Oak Ridge, NJ, 07438 on Wednesday, November 25th from 2:00PM-4:00 PM and 6:00PM-8:00 PM. A memorial service will also be held for Amy at the same location on Friday, November 27th at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825
