Obituary of Alan R. Goldrich

Dear Family and Friends-

It is with profound sadness that we write to let you know that after over two years of fighting, our dad lost his battle with pancreatic cancer this morning. He died surrounded by his family and blanketed in love, just as he would have wanted it.

Dad did not want a funeral or a burial. Of this he was certain. Instead, he asked for a "celebration of life" - a party where people would remember him and laugh, dance, sing, eat and drink. These are all the things he liked to do best, and we will honor his wishes We plan to have a Celebration of Life party in the Spring, around his birthday, which is April 28th.

For now, we will be sitting shiva at his home at 97 Union Brick Road Blairstown, NJ starting Friday from 1pm-8pm. Saturday and Sunday visiting hours will be from 10am to 8pm. We hope to see you, but if you cannot make it, please plan to join us in April in Blairstown for Dad's Celebration of Life.

In case you are not aware, we do have cats in our home. Although Alan was allergic and managed just fine, you may want to "pre-dose" before visiting just to make sure.

With Love,

Brian, Hillary and Barbara
