Obituary of Clara G. Conley

Clara Conley. She passed away Monday, April 15th at 10:30 am. She was born March 16, 1942 in Delanson, NY. She was a strong determined and fiercely independent woman who loved doing things her own way, provided by the endless love and support of her dedicated husband Bill. She had a range of interests, fishing, taking care of her extended family and making sure the house and yard were always in order. Taking an interest in watching out for the neighborhood was her ultimate passion. That said, she will truly be missed. When you first hear the news that a loved one has passed, you are overtaken by shock and disbelief. Nothing can help prepare you for the sudden death of a loved one especially when it was as tragic as how Clara passed. We never had the chance to say goodbye. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William A. Conley, daughters Angela Teliha, Cathi Mansfield and Sandy Winkler, her son Scott Teliha, 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son James. At this time there will be no formal services held, but a family gathering may occur upon later notice. Arrangements are under the direction of Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ.
