Robin Randolph, fifty one years young, passed away on Wednesday evening, May 8th, 2013, at Morristown Hospital after battling a short illness. One of five, she grew up in Flemington, NJ, graduating from Hunterdon Central High School and going on to graduate from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Robin was the beloved mother of Sarah Kapitko, cherished partner of Gary Kapitko, and adored sister of Sue Darago, Jeff, Scott, and Kurt Randolph. She is also survived by five nephews, one great nephew, two nieces, and three great nieces. Robin was a fantastic woman who lit up a room simply by entering it. She was one of the lucky ones who was able to wake up every morning and absolutely love where she was in life and what she was doing. Residing in Frelinghuysen, NJ, Robin taught science at Frelinghuysen Elementary school, spent as much time outdoors as possible, and was very involved in her community, always trying to make the world a better place for those around her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robin to the Domestic Abuse and Rape Crisis Center (DARCC), The Land Conservancy, the Johnsonburg Presbyterian Center, the Arthritis Foundation, or an organization of your choosing. A memorial visitation will be held and the family will be accepting friends on Tuesday, May 14th, at the Newbaker Funeral Home in Blairstown, NJ from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown.
