Ann was the crossing guard when my first grade class was housed in the Masonic Lodge while the addition was being built at the Blairstown Elementary School. We talked every day before and after school. She was kind, funny, honest and took the student's safety very seriously. Whenever we met (often at the ACME or post office), Ann would share news of the grandchildren with pride. She would tell me about some health issues but never complained. I will miss Ann with memories of a fine woman who cared about her family and community. Memory Eternal.

Aunt Ann was quite a lady. She was a bit tougher on us kids when she was younger but she definitely got sweeter with age! Our family will truly miss her, especially at Christmas as she carried on the Swedish Christmas traditions for a very long time. She was very good at making “Grandma Sandberg’s Swedish meatballs”. She did so much in helping carry on tradition in the Blairstown area. Kind of sad how only the older residence know of the Sandberg name and how instrumental they were in the community. Our family will never forget and we pay honor to you Aunt Ann and you will be greatly missed. May you rest in God’s peace. In Loving Memory, Stacey Sandberg-Stone & Family

To Ann's family! We, too, are saddened by Ann's passing. She has gone to be with family and friends that are waiting for her. She is at peace. May the memories that you made with her and them give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. We have many great memories of the Sandberg family! One of my fondest memories is that she taught me to place a damp towel or cloth over food items that should not dry out when serving a large group of people. What a great "hack". Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
