Robert James Ferrante of Hope, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2021.
Bob was born in Jersey City, NJ to Harry and Irma Ferrante on August 28, 1934. He was a home builder and general contractor and built more than 250 homes in northern NJ during a career that lasted more than 50 years. Bob loved camping at Lake George, vacations at the Jersey shore, going out to dinner, Atlantic City trips with his partners in crime, Frank Sinatra and most of all, his family.
Bob is survived by his sister Irma Chazotte (Woodcliff Lake, NJ), his daughters Cheryl Ferrante (Zen Zysk) of Blairstown, NJ and Laura Ferrante-Ulsamer (Rick Ulsamer) of Maplewood, NJ, sons Bob Ferrante of Cresskill, NJ and Michael Ferrante (Susan Ferrante) of Great Meadows, NJ, grandchildren Matthew Ferrante of Boonton, NJ and Gabrielle and Nicholas Ferrante of Menasha, WI. He is preceded
in death by his wife, Martha.
Visitation will be held on Monday Jan 3rd from 9-10:30AM at Newbaker Funeral Home, Route 94, Blairstown, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at St. Jude RC Church on Monday, January 3rd at 11AM; Father Ron Jandernoa officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Green Township, NJ. Newbaker Funeral Home have been enrusted to handle the funeral arrangements.
