Type Obit Here Todd was born June 10, 1974, in Blairstown, NJ to Thomas and Marjorie Quinn. Todd is survived by his son Sawyer (Blairstown), mother Marjorie (East Stroudsburg, PA), sisters Tanya Quinn and Terri Quinn (Hackettstown, NJ), and brother Tom, sister-in law Maria, nieces Erica and Gabriella (Alpharetta, GA). He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Sr.Raised in Blairstown, Todd attended Blairstown Elementary and North Warren Regional High School, participating in the athletic programs of soccer, baseball, and basketball. He fulfilled his spiritual life in the sacraments of the Catholic faith at St. Jude's in Blairstown. Todd furthered his education at Rowan University, graduating with a B.S. in Biology/Environmental Science in 1997. Aspiring to follow his degree, Todd moved to Colorado where he resided for 6 years in Fort Collins and Eagle. While in Colorado, Todd followed another of his life's desires, successfully becoming a master craftsman within the log and timber frame homebuilding industry. Through his own business, he honed his skills upon the more prestigious homes and lodging within the Colorado resort community. Seeking to continue his love of adventure, the outdoors and to challenge his craft, Todd journeyed north to Alaska where he resided for 6 years in Eagle River and Seward, continuing his craft within his log and timber frame company. Todd spent his summers working as a lead guide for a kayak service company within the Kenai Fjords National Park. He also worked as a sport fishing guide based out of the port of Seward. Todd resided in both Alaska and Colorado before returning to the East Coast to support his aging father. Todd married Catherine Allen in 2009 in Littleton, New Hampshire and was blessed in 2011 with the birth of their son, Sawyer. Most memorable of Todd's aspirations, accomplishments, and attributes were his appreciation for nature, dedication to craft, and loving devotion to family and friends. Todd enjoyed capturing his appreciation of the outdoors through the lens of his camera, photographing the natural environments that he so loved immersing himself within. He fulfilled his unbridled spirit of adventure through his travel and love of sport, which included hunting, fishing, snowboarding in the backcountry, and hiking. Todd was most at home and at peace while in the outdoors amongst family and friends. His son Sawyer was his proudest accomplishment in this life and Sawyer turned out to be Todd's most-prized compass, pointing him toward his truest north of being a loving father.Visitation at Newbaker Funeral Home200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ on Wednesday, August 26 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Due to COVID-19, face masks must be worn within the funeral home and social distancing required. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church 7 Eisenhower Rd., Blairstown, NJ on Thursday, August 27 at 11:30am. All are welcome but due to COVID-19, the attendance within the church building is limited (face masks required) and will be by invite of the family. Others who wish to attend the service may do so outside the church from their car or socially distanced on the lawn. St. Jude's has audio capability to enable the outdoor participation.It is the Quinn family's hopeful intention to have a much more inclusive celebration of Todd's life when the restrictions of COVID-19 are gone.
