Jean R. Wilson, 95, passed away at her home in Oxford, on May 24, 2022. Born in West Pittson, PA to Roderick and Hilda Richards, she lived most of her life as a resident of Belvidere, NJ. During her life, Jean worked as a homemaker and a driver for NORWESCAP. As an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, she was very happy last year to see her team finally win. Jean enjoyed travelling with her family to North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and Hawaii. Jean was an avid reader, gardener of flowers and vegetables and solver of crossword puzzles. She loved the Jersey Shore and spent many happy summer days enjoying the sun, sand, and water. Her particular passion was gardening both flowers and vegetables. Famously an amazing baker, Jean was widely known for having “the best pie crust on the planet.”’ As one of Jehovah Witnesses, she found true joy in volunteering and helping others in her community to learn about the Bible.
She is survived by three daughters: Nancy, husband Andy; Rachel, husband Philip; Lisa, husband Martin; two sons: Tim, wife Lisa; Bruce, wife Sue; son-in-law Arthur; four grandchildren: Jahnel, husband Adam; Nathan; Nicole, husband Jordan; Shannon and six great grandchildren: Silas, Jade, Lacey, Ashley, Dakota, and Harper. She was predeceased by her husband Oliver, a son Richard, and a daughter Sandra. She will be deeply missed.
