Reginald W. Murdock (MR. WONDERFUL)of Liberty Township, NJ passed away at the age of 77 on March 1, 2018. He was the son of the late Paul Murdock and Alma Schaible Miller. He is survived by his adoring wife of 32 years, Anne L., and his sons Reginald Murdock II and his wife Holly of Westminster, CA, and Kurt Murdock and wife Kathleen of Norfolk, VA. He was predeceased by his son Robert and daughter Cynthia, as well as three additional children. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of both the United States Navy submarine service as well as the United States Marine Corps, ultimately achieving the rank of Lance Corporal. He was an avid motorcyclist and antique car builder and customizer. He also enjoyed handcrafting custom knives and jewelry. He was an ordained minister who performed numerous ceremonies for friends
and family alike. He was a collector of stuff, a savior of animals, and had the deepest respect for all human beings.
His past employment included being the Day Shift Supervisor at Wharton Steel as well as the Project Manager for the Mayfair Experience in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
Reggie also spent many years with the Anne L Murdock Funeral Service, Inc. of Clinton, NJ.
There will be a visitation at the Newbaker Funeral Home 200 Route 94 Blairstown, New Jersey (GPS use Columbia, NJ) on Sunday March 4 at 1 to 4PM with services immediately following at 4PM
Cremation is Private.
