Biography
Steve G Ruzicka, 63 years of age, of Blairstown, NJ, died in Knowlton Township, NJ, on Saturday, January 14th as a result of a motorcycle, motor vehicle accident. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a son of Marie Antoinette Ruzicka , and the late George L Ruzicka.
Mr Ruzicka had lived in Blairstown since 1985, having moved from the Flanders, NJ. area. He was a self employed contractor and owner of a home siding business, R & R Siding. Steve was an ardent soccer fan who had coached local soccer teams and he was also an avid motorcyclist who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson .
Mr Ruzicka is survived by a loving family, his wife, the former, Ann Jackson, a son, Jesse, of Boonton, NJ, two daughters, Brandy Ruzicka-Craft of Richmond, VA and Ashley Denk of Tampa, FL, five grandchildren, his mother, Marie Ruzicka of Chester, NJ, a sister, Marcia Marcantonio of Saylorsburg, PA, and an uncle, Eric Ruzicka of Spring Hill, FL. In addition to his father, he was predeceased in 1991, by a beloved daughter, Carly J.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Friday, January 20th at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Rt 94, Blairstown, NJ. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9PM. Interment will follow in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Rt 94, Blairstown.
Memorial donations will be appreciated to the Make A Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.
